Gnome Cup Class

In this hands on class, you will build a cup from slabs of clay and attach features to create an adorable gnome! We will guide you step by step through shaping, assembling, and refining your form for a cute and clean piece that feels as good as it looks.

When it comes to glaze, you will paint your hat and beard on the wet clay the same night of building. Next, our staff will handle the clear glazing to ensure your finished piece is shiny and food safe.

This class is best for ages 13 and up and is welcoming to beginners and seasoned makers alike. Your cup will be ready for pickup in 2 to 3 weeks.

**Please Note:** Pottery can be a tricky process, and while we aim for the best results, there is always a risk that your piece may develop a crack or defect during firing. That’s okay! Pottery is as much about the creative journey and learning experience as it is about the final product. Embrace the process and enjoy the experience!

Cancellation policy: Tickets are non refundable. If you are unable to make the class you can send someone in your place. If a class is called off due to weather, you are provided a flexible make up day option that includes any Saturday from 10-3 or by appointment during the week.
